Planning for the future
When it comes to funeral plans can we suggest that you talk to people that actually know about funerals. People that live locally in your community and people that have been established in business as funeral directors since 1887. Can we suggest that you talk to us at Ugalde & Son.
Funeral plans offer peace of mind for you and your family and are a good way of helping to protect against ever increasing costs of funerals. In addition to the financial aspects, planning in this way allows you to leave instructions on what you really want for your own funeral, making it easier and less traumatic for those you leave behind.
Financial funeral planning, the sensible way of preparing for the future
No one likes talking about the inevitable but financial funeral planning is a really sensible way of preparing for the future, making sure that your family are left with happy memories of good times and not just an invoice to settle.
How does it work?
Funeral costs have risen over the years so planning for further potential increases is a sensible and caring thing to do.
At Ugalde & Son we offer Perfect Choice Funeral Plans, which once in place guarantee that our direct costs will be covered, no matter how much costs increase. As long as you stay in the same area, use the original funeral directing firm and your requirements don’t change, then your family won’t be asked to pay another penny over and above our costs, regardless of how long you live or whatever happens to costs in the meantime.
Perfect Choice Plans can include an allowance towards the fees for cremation, medical fees for Cremation Certificates and payment to a minister or officiant. These costs are outside of our control and cannot be guaranteed.
We offer a range of flexible payment options. You can choose to pay by lump sum or in manageable monthly instalments over 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 years.
If you are interested Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more information.
Is my money safe?
A Perfect Choice Funeral Plan gives you exceptional financial security for your money.
Unlike some plans, every penny of the full value of our plans (excluding the initial management fee) is held securely in a whole of life, guaranteed assurance policy and is ring fenced to pay for your funeral as and when the time comes.
The money is made immediately available to your funeral director at the time of need and the funds cannot be used for anything other than your funeral for your peace of mind.
For maximum security the funds are held in whole of life assurance policies with a life assurance company that is authorised by the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) and regulated by the PRA and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Funeral plans themselves are not regulated by the PRA or FCA but ournplan provider is registered with the funeral planning authority (FPA).
